Sustainable AI Hackathon
FAI SUMMIT
Develop an AI Solution that addresses sustainability. A track built to demonstrate the skill sets of the best of minds in the region. Shortlisted candidates will demonstrate, build, and customize AI models to meet the requirements of listed business or government systems. Applicants will demo the solution live at the FAI Summit.

The inaugural 2022 FAI Summit is hosting a competition to display industry players' new innovative solutions revolving around sustainability.
Present to the global stage your solution to bringing forth a new shift of robust and stable initiatives. Selected applicants will present their solutions at the FAI Summit to AI, Tech, and Business Industry Leaders and Experts.
Qualifications
Participants must illustrate that the AI solution addresses one or more of the following sustainability concepts:
- Environmental impact reduction initiatives
- UN’s Sustainable Development Goals
- Helping unlock company data to improve efficiency
- Minimize non-renewable/renewable resource spending
- Empowering communities to be more conservative – avoid waste, improve re–cycling
- Aid in the development of sustainable cities and communities. I.e.,
- Aid in the provision of affordable and quality health care
- Manufacturing of raw materials for affordable housing,
- Improve access to equitable education,
- Improve Agriculture
- Improve transport
Sustainable AI- Hackathon Rules
- Upload a video to Instagram or Twitter providing a summary of your solution
- Tag @flapmaxHQ and @FAIInstitute
- Write a short summary of not more than 150 words describing your solution
- Datasets used must be listed in the description
- The solution should be available on a public GitHub repository
More Information
- All applicants must submit a working solution that is demonstratable.
- The applicants must register for both stages if pre-qualified
- The applicants must be willing to demonstrate their solution for public review.
- During the summit the audience will have a chance to vote for the best solution which adds to your chances of winning.
- Solution should address needs of existing communities Solution should be unique in nature with working machine learning algorithm
